CIRCUS IN LITTLE ROCK

Today was the first day of the Nolan Richardson Traveling Circus. After the things he said no wonder he was fired. He plays his favorite race card everytime someone don't agree with him. After the Kentucky game and he said "Pay me the money and they can have this job" the university took him at his word. If I said things to my boss like he said to his I would be gone and there would be no $500,000 a year package for me. I can only wish my boss would buy me out for $500,000 a year for six years. I sure wouldn't be spending my time in court. No telling how long this will last but life goes on for the rest of us.

Nolan has said racist things for years and they finally caught up with him a couple years ago. The only reason he stayed at Arkansas as long as he did was due to his winning ways. It's amazing what will be overlooked when your winning.

He should have been fired years ago. When asked why he only recruited players from the south, his reply was "This is where the slave ships landed!" A white coach would have been fired so fast it wouldn't have even been funny. He has always played the race card and they finally called his hand. I hope he never even gets the time of day from the U of A.

I am fed up with all the racist crap going on now days. If you are anything but white you can say anything you want and it is OK. Those who play the race card are the worst of all yet seem to be immuned from backlash due their color. Shame of it is folks in Nolans position could make a difference in the whole scheme of things by setting an example, instead his type of remarks push us further apart. UofA shoulnt have to pay him a dime, makes me sick to see him getting rewarded for being an a-hole.

Nolan is another case of a great talent going to waste because he can't control his mouth.

I was taught, believe, and practice as best as possible, that there is no color difference. The only time I react to it is when the "other person" brings it up and tries to use it to their advantage - THEN IT'S WRONG!

I don't back Nolan at all, but the whole irony of it all is that maybe Frank is getting what he deserves for hiring the S.O.B. in the first place. I mean he has caused some sort of stink everywhere he's been.

I have went to the Arkansas state playoffs for the last 6 years and love it. It is exciting to watch such talent from our state. What pisses me off is when I see the talent we have here in Arkansas and yes most of them are white, but none of them get scholarships from the U of Arkansas. I would like to know how many of our readers on this board are of the black race and what are your true feelings on Nolan.

I think ole Frank has been in charge just a little too long. Needs to take a break and do some fishin. A little fresh blood might be good for the hogs. In general the athletic department has gone to nothing in the last 10 or more years (excluding bball championship). Football has been picking up some though, seem to win some of the bog-uns and get embarresed on some of the others. Really hated to see the demise of the SWC, still wish I had that shirt where the hog was standing in the state of Arkansas pissing on Texas.

From what I have read so far it looks like team walker/richardson are digging themselves a pretty deep hole. Every allegation is replied to with a sensible/logical answer. I just wonder when they are going to bring up White using the term coon, during a Procyon Lotor hunting trip.

xring, There is no jury. This case is being decided by a judge. Gives you a little more room for appeals.
