Need advise on a place to hunt squirrels

Im new to hunting up here near Jonesboro, I need some place close to go squirrel hunting with my kids. I known nothing about the public land around here and just need some tips.

If anybody has some private land that I could take them on, I'd be interested in talking to ya.

I would go to walmart and buy a Delorme Arkansas Atlas and between it and the hunting reg book you will be able to find any close public lands to hunt. Some of them should be good small game hunting.

You may not be to far from Harold Alexander WMA in Sharp County. :thumb:

BKS you can go to Bayou Deview south of Jonesboro, or Scatter Creek at Paragould, they are both WMA's and probably not many hunters in the woods now, a few duck hunters on the Bayou, in the water, and some deer hunters in both places.
