Southern Squirrel Zone Season

Hey the game and fish did propose something new that I did like, and it was opening the southern season a week earlier, so it doesn't coincide with Oct. 1 archery season. It should have been done a long time ago. But glad they finally did it, did I mention I love squirrel hunting. graemlins/thumb.gif

Something about still having little ones down that way. I may try to get down that way for a hunt since it doesn't coincide with archery season.

Still does not make sense to me, should we hold of on deer hunting to the little one leave mommy. ;)

I do not understand why they have two zones anyway. :confused: I agree with this it does not make any since to have two different squirrel zones. There are alot less squirrel hunters out there than deer hunters. So with that the southern zone could open the same time it opens in the north zone.

I got it..they're going to give the squirrel hunters(I are one too), one of the weeks they took away from bowhunters(I are one of those also)........ :D
