Quail huntin'

Got offered a chance to hunt(?) quail on Friday at the Friday Ranch near Mayflower. Look out leetle birdies the bear is on the way!!!

I cant go till Saturday, but would like to hear about your hunt, if you can post Friday night.This year looks promissing for Quail, for the first time, in years.
I was also suprized to come home and find 2 new German Shorthair pups in the doghouse with my female today. Now I am up to 5 Shorthairs!

I guess I spoke too soon, as I'll be out of town this weekend. But, a couple of us have been talking about getting a hunt together, and it looks like we've got enough coveys to have a great hunt.

graemlins/smack.gif hunt has been canceled because it being so wet the dogs won't be able to pick up the scent - so will hafta wait till next week. BUMMER!
