How quick?

What is the quickest anyone has gotten their limit? for me about twenty minutes. Never lost sight of the truck that morning.

I went in the woods one morning at 7:40 and walked out at 8:10 with 8 squirrels and here is the kicker, I only shot 7 times with my shotgun, and have a witness. graemlins/thumb.gif

If they are moving good, I have taken a limit quite a few times in well under an hour. Then, there are times I have hunted half a day and just seen a couple, maybe not even gotten a shot on one of them. graemlins/smack.gif

I love it when there are some squirrels, man I hope I can hunt them this year, we may have to do that late season hunt somewhere. ;)

I've always wanted to kill 8 by 8 with 8 shots with a .22; the closest I've come was 8 by 8:15 with 9 shots!

me and some buddies were at deer camp a few years back and four of us had 32 in 40 minutes. i shot my eight out of one tree. it look like they were migrating. danmdest thing i ever saw. then for two years there wasnt any. this year it looks to be pretty good. lots of acorns from last year still laying around. did everyone have as good as acorn crop as we did this last fall?

theres more squirrels and acors down here and in van buren co. where i hunt than you can shake a stick at. last year.... nothing. wasnt even much bear sign. but we have seen a lot this yr.

I have my old .22 ready for squirrl season,,,I shot a 5 shot 50 yd. group today that you could cover with a pencil eraser....Eat your heart out Mr.C......shot a second group that was smaller than a .41 caliber bullet hole.....Yes I do have witness's as Ddogeman says!!! :D

We used to have a little competition in the squirrel woods, 8 squirrels, head shots only, first one back got the kitty,.,,,,I usually used their money to buy more CCI Green Tag,,,,Of course, they didn't have your ability,,,, ;)

I am handicaped now, can't hear, can't see, can't walk, and still can't miss!! :D

I'm with you X when we quit shooting all we could, we started killing 8 and see who could get back to the truck or boat first. With so few a squirrels that we have had the last few years it has been a chore to just get 4 or 5.

As far as you can't miss, lol you remind me of an old guy we used to take with us just so we could kill more squirrels.

You are more than welcome to join us, can you clean them by yourself and cook, we may have to keep you around? graemlins/thumb.gif

I've taken my limit by eight a few times. It usually takes me a little longer though but I just about always get my limit on opening morning.

I took a limit of 8 squirrels in 15 minutes standing in one spot. I have done this twice in Big Lake. It takes longer to get some of these areas like a hour walk then it takes to kill a limit.

Dodge man you need to get out away from the roads to get a limit most every time just like your deerhunting . If you hunt the spots just inside the places others hunt you aren't going to see much go deeper into the woods thats where to find all the animals!!
