caught 30 white perch yesteray. Said they were SLABS! And she's going back again today. I'm going Friday night, Saturday and Saturday night. Puttin out trotlines and yo-yo's to night fish and fishing on a pole during the day. I'm looking forward to a fun weekend.

Take me take me!!! Sounds like fun!!! My dad caught 14 slabs on Ouachita Monday, they didn't bit this morning. Give it a week or two and it will be on.

My friend is gonna build a fire on the lake bank, already got the firewood. Might just spend the night outside under the stars.

I set out yoyos monday night and caught a limit of crappie 12" to 16" nice slabs(Limit 20). Went last night and did not do as well caught 9 crappie but good ones again. Also caught two nice cats around 4 lbs. There is nothing like hearing the yoyos giong off in the dark.

we caught about 30 yesterday, mostly small ones. i did catch one big ol bass on my jig pole on a crappie jig. she was 20 inches long and slam full of eggs. i turned her back so she could do her thing. sure was a fun fight on a fiberglass 12' pole and 10 foot of 4 lb test:biggrin: good luck bett, we are going out about lunchtime saturday and staying til sunday morning. I didn't get to go fishing. My friend that her husband was murdered had a total melt down and I had to help her out. I'll get the chance to fish another weekend.
