Has anyone fished Taney recently? I am going up there after Christmas for some flyfishing and was wondering how the water is, and what they might be hitting on.

I haven't fished there recently, but I can usually always catch some at Tanneycomo using micro jigs under a strike indicator or using a soft hackle.

The last time I fished there was about a year and a half ago, and they were hitting R&R's, Y2k's, Diamond Midge, Zebra Midges and anything that was small. I was hoping to try some dry flies depending on wind and how my casting goes. I haven't fished in months, and wasn't looking forward to spending New Years with the in-laws in Branson till I remembered that there is some good fishing there. So it will be a good trip afterall.
