Little Red

Made a trip to the Little Red Sunday. Caught 56 trout below swinging bridge. Had a couple in the 4-5 lb range. Between 3 of us we ended up catching about 120.

Sounds like a great time. The last time I caught that many fish, I thought that i was the man until i was told that they just stocked the water the night before. Were you flyfishing or spin casting?

Spin casting, but they weren't stockers. The majority where browns.

I went with a buddy yesterday to Swingin' Bridge and wore them out on the fly. No monsters, but a lot of healthy fish that had been in the river a while. It was a can't miss day where every spot produced fish.

The dam was slower fishing, but wonderful b/c there was nobody else around. It's nice to not have someone else constantly getting right up next to you to fish the same spot.
