Beaver Lake or Swepco

I'm gonna try to get on the water this weekend, maybe either on beaver or may go to the hot lake. Anyone been to either one lately? Any suggestions?

Got video from Swepco from last Feb. It is one of the best we have ever done. We caught 4-6lb bass from start to finish at the mouth of the plant using live bait and had a fantastic time.

One thing though, it was quite a bit colder than it is now though.

Went to SWEPCO two weeks ago, and caught 35 bass in the morning. Used a Zoom Super Fluke on the steep banks. The bigger bass were right on the bank, and smaller bass were about 10 feet of bank. Biggest was 4.5 lbs but had a huge head and was very skinny.

MSB--That is what we found a lot of last year over there. Had some great nights fishing with40+ fish not uncommon. Unfortunatly many of them that should have been 5lbs. were only 3.5lbs.

I think now that you can keep some out of there it should help some. Might not catch as many, but the sizes should go up.

BTW--Have they started work yet on the new ramp?

I heard they hadnt started the new ramp yet because they changed project cordinators. Its scheduled sometime after the first of the year. And the fish there are like you guys are describing. Jan. 1 there is a slot from 10 to 18 inches, one fish over 18. So, maybe that'll help the situation.
