Largemouth

I caught these fish the other day, out at the Wrightsville Prison. I live there thats why i get to fish it. But anyways they ranged from 1 1/2 lbs. to 4 lbs.. Caught off of a brown and fire color buzzbait, caught the four biggest with a 30 min. span.


I'll have to upload the picture tonight when I get off work sorry guys. I thought i could attach it.

Them should fry up good. It is about time to stock the freezer.

We have done real good on bass using white spinnerbaits and firetiger pattern crankbaits. They have been shallow on stumps at Nimrod. Fun to catch them , but who eats them ?:confused: They smell like water moccissions to me!:frown: As long as we have plenty of crappie I release or give those things away.:thumb: Crappie are slow but some nice ones are hitting pink/white jigs.:biggrin:

I have lived on prison land my whole life. And when I say prison land I mean on the land. The fence is about 200 yards from my front door. My dad has worked for the state for 22 years and we have lived at wrightsville for the last 15 years.

It use to get stocked by game & fish but they haven't done that in the last 8 or so years.
