View Full Version : catch'em
Took my 2 yr old grandson to the pond to feed the catfish, when the fish were all up eat'n and splash'n he looked off the dock and said, " we go'n ta catch'em ain't we?" Think he's go'n to fit right in with our crew.

Man there cain't be anything better than spending time with your grandson. I so look forward to the day I can do the same. Great post sam.
Well gramps did ya'll catch em ? That grandson is ready to fish from the sounds of it. My dad and grandad took me fishing as soon as I could sit in a boat. I used to sit right on the seat with my dad at first while he sculled the boat. Still ruined , can't get fishing outa my system. Before dad passed away he told my woman , he though I must be part fish. That's what I live and breath ,outside deer season. My son started fishing with me as soon as he could barely stand in the boat .:thumb:
Oh, he's been fish'n lot's of times already. The old man just wasn't too keen on the idea that day, it was 2 in the afternoon and 100+ outside. Best I can tell the regulators work a lot better on them little guys than us OF's, I don't think it gets too hot for him, The days he's here he has my butt drag'n by the time he goes home, His favorite phrase is ."outside popa, outside",and usually we end up outside, one more reason to look foward to "COOL WEATHER!!"
