I've been looking at every Catalpa tree I can find and can't find a single one with worms on them............ Anybody know why? Seems like years ago they were everywhere...............

It was some slim pickins on worms this year. I've got about 15 trees that I get worms from every year & only 4 or 5 had worms this year. Worms have already went underground this time of year.

I know at my house I have not had any for the last 2 years! Everytime I would see one making a run for the earth the fire ants would have him rapped up :censored: I am afraid all the poison I put out for the fire ants probably killed my worms!!! Its also been real dry here the last 2 years  could have something to do with it????

I caught the heel out of them in late June and early July here in the Ozarks. I think the agricultural region of the state (east and south Ark) has too many crop dusters spraying pesticide. Thats what I've been told. The Ozarks seem to be full of them. Who knows for sure.

I've got 2 trees that haven't had worms in years, I spray around the pond bank to kill briars and weeds, maybe I've killed the worms.

I only got about 60 worms off of my trees this year and I froze them to use on catfish this fall. After the worms eat off all the leaves, and the trees leaf back out, watch them because sometimes mine will get a second batch of worms. I'm hoping thats the case this year.
