Great Pictures
I am partial to the Ouachitas but those Ozark Waterfalls are Fantastic.
The Ozarks also have an unfair advantage, in height and numbers as you can see.
54 in the Buffalo drainage alone!

No falls are listed for Yell County.
I have been doing a lot of map studing, of Yell/Perry counties trying to locate possible waterfalls. Three from Perry are listed, Forked Mt Falls and forked Mt Cascade, both on the Saline County line and then Browns cascade.

Wonder why? What's the critera for a fall to be listed in the book? Surely we have some that qualify!
The one I posted yesterday is probably 8-10 tall!

Probably due to lack of Knowlede of some of the falls location. Lack of duration after a rain? Lack of for other reasons I dont know about? I have emailed Tim Earnest pics of 2 in Perry co that are not listed in the book, one of which i feel is worthy to be in the book. No reply yet.

great pics. I have a video of some falls around my place in the ozarks. I could set at the creek and watch and listen to the running water all day. I have a creek that runs by my cabin, and the sound of the water running over the rocks puts me to sleep at night. I think of it as another blessing from God to me.

Not to take away from the fine pictures by ARstillhunter, but I ran across this pic of a canoer running the falls.

Falling Water Creek is one of my favorite, more secluded Ozark Streams - have lured a smallie or two out of some of those holes!

About 15 miles from Greers Ferry at a little town named Prim.
