Forked Mt is on the Perry/Saline line about 5 miles east of Hollis, a short distance off fs road 86. It is visable from Ola Mt to Hollis in several places on Hwy7.

It was great to see a picture of Hemmed in hollow. I last visited Hemmed in Hollow and the Goat trail in 1978. Back then you could drive down a steep rocky road all the way to the river. I understand now all the roads are blocked as it probably should be. The place is a Arkansas treasure.

Chimney Rock formation on South Fork of Spring. Excellent smallmouth bass fishing here in early spring.

Can you detail where exactly some of these cool places are? I'd like to check them out. The streams, rivers, caves and trails look like a great time.
Thanks,
Bigbridge:

I went back and added a few name/descriptions to some of the Pictures that did not have any already. If you can give more specific request I will give more information. I think all the ones outside AR were labeled with names. Most are from Perry Co, a few from Yell, Montgomery, Garland, Saline and a few more from Newton and Piney Creek is in Pope CO.

Great pics, bird dog. Made me smell that crisp winter air, could imagine hearing that whitewatewr running. I can't wait for leaf-off to do some late winter/ early spring exploring.:thumb:

WOW! It still blows my mind to think AR has that kind of elk.
