I am not much on caches that require such a high level of equipment and difficulty.
Any one that goes for these two in one day will not see a dramatic leap in their caching statistics.
However, in terms of personal achievement and how you feel about your self at the end of the day, these are just worth the effort.
The beautiful views and finding the caches in such remote places, just make you feel good about yourself and the world in general.
Both these caches are .50 caliber ammunition cans that are clean, dry, fresh and well placed.
It is the "getting there" that is the "thing about it".
It is a hike if you are not on a atv, motorcycle, or four wheel drive. Don't wait till you need it, lock your hubs at the botton of each of these splendid climbs.
We were caching with SUPER AND POOCH and saw wild life at almost every turn.
Snow squalls had happened all night long and the early morning was gray with occasional flurries. The nearby mountains all had white tops from snow accumilation.
At each cache site the wind was whistling through the high line wires.
Highline Heaven http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=024ea07f-5a1e-48b4-a786-4da58f75d0cc is a place where you can see for miles and miles.
Rough Stuff http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=cb90c539-e47c-4fb4-abc2-60f53ff95ffc is in a location that allows for a look at the distant Eagle mountain.
We were able to Jeep to within 50 feet of High line Heaven, for a FTF.
We didn't do as well at Rough Stuff, we spun out as soon as we got on to the snow on this steep climb. We were 249 feet from the cache.
Another FTF ! Jeeps rule !
Thanks 12bullfrog for a great day of geocaching and Jeepin' in the beautiful Ouachita Mountains.

Cool! I mean that literally and, that its interesting. If I had more time today, I would have located one on Forked Mt. Where are the pictures of this place?
