Anyone ever stay in these? Thinking about going up during my son's Spring Break in March. We are thinking about renting one for a couple nights. Would like any input!:thumb:

FWH,
I've never stayed in them, but passed by them several times, including this past weekend. From the outside, they look like typical State Park cabins, nice but not new and fancy, not real big but big enough. I'd recommend you make sure you get one that is farthest from the highway. The ones nearest the highway are real close to it. Its a nice relatively short hike from the cabins down to the falls, if we get any rain by then.

Been on Petit Jean gobs of times FW but never overnight. But If I had my druthers I'd go on down the road another 15 or 20 miles and get a cabin on Mt Nebo at Dardanelle. Man you talk about a view!
At night you can see the lights from about 7 different towns including Dardanelle and Russellville and in the daytime you can see forever on a good clear day! And that time of the year y'all might get to watch lots of hang gliders jump off the side of the mountain.
There's deer running around everywhere on that mountain. You can see little herds of them darting all over the place, even between the cabins and on the roads.
The cabins are in extra good shape and some of them have a sure nuff dandy view. They have benches set up on each end of the mountain where you can sit and enjoy the view and watch the deer and hang gliders and hot air baloons.
Nothing wrong with Petit Jean.... I just like the view off Nebo the best!

FW, we had our Annual ADHA meeting there at Mathers Lodge and my wife and I stayed in one, and it was nice, had the vaulted wood ceilings with the fireplace and all...It seemed pretty new...

Try Boston Mnt. Guest Ranch north of Mountainburg great view you can see the lights of Fort Smith Van Buren and Alma, and really nice cabins especially the Lodge. Prices are very reasonable.
